Game Over...for now.
Hi, The last 2 shows were “great” as usual. Saint Quay: I want to thank 38 Germans (travelling by bus) for setting the house on fire. Now, I know that “Zugabe” means encore in German. I don’t want to thank the barman who served us a “blind test cocktail” (cointreau, gin, tequila, martini & tabasco): disgusting, the kind of stuff that drives you blind...
Two to Go
Hello, We’re back home after 13 days of music, travel, fun etc. in both Japan & Thailand. Japan was great as usual, except for one big storm that made us cancel one of our shows, but we’ll take revenge at next year’s Summer Sonic (it’s official!), so I guess that’ s cool. There’s too much to mention, but I think the first show and aftershow party in Tokyo...
Nothing's gonna stop me now *
heho!
Still in Bangkok, for 2 days. Pedro & I have officially started our jobs as producers: we spent all day with Thai band Sqweez Animal working on 2 of their songs. Cool. It’s actually great to have this kind of experiences here, even though a recording studio is more or less the same everywhere we go: you lock the door, crack the whip and get the work done.
(pretty good definition,...
Music in a green time*
Sawadee krub,
That’s it: the Asian “come back tour” is over. (our tour is nearly over too…sniff).
Last night, we performed in a huge venue (at least 6,000 were people in here) for the Green Space event (endorsed by a Dutch Beer company and produced by MTV). As always, it was interesting to watch Thai bands perform, and notice how the audience reacted to them (girls...
Tahiti Touring Party
Hey,
So, we finally left Japan.
5 long days & short nights, as getting adjusted to the time difference is impossible for me in Japan. I’d need to stay longer there and then I’ll experience what it feels to be “normal”. Non-stop partying, and work, yes we were here to perform 3 shows and do some promo! , didn’t help either.
Anyway, it’s been a very special...
No Show Last Night...
For once, I can’t say my usual punchline “last nite’s show was great” etc. Because there was no show as we couldn’t perform last night at Summer Sonic Tokyo……Can you believe this?
We were due to play the headlining show at the Beach Stage. But during Jack Penate’s show, we felt a few raindrops which quickly evolved into somekind of tropic storm,...
ouch.
Hello,
Ouch. it hurts. My head. Last night. Kinda crazy.
While the other guys were sleeping, I did various interviews and photoshoots, with roses and a horse, his name was Marron by the way and he looked great, better than me:
The things we can do for music…
Soundcheck, shopping and performing.
The show was amazing, my fav’ Tokyo show ever. We had so much fun and we played great,...
Jellyfish
O-hayo (slightly hangover) So we’re back again, in Japan, I mean. Even if the Shibuya area has become strangely all too familiar for us (déjà vu?), it’s quite exciting to walk around the streets, see the people etc. Yesterday, after spending a full day in planes, transit etc. (cos we stopped in Bkk first, don’t ask me why, cos I have a good answer…) we headed straight to...
Fly like a bunch of eagles
Same cases, same flight cases, everything inside them and everyone carrying them is the same too: I guess we’re ready for another long distance trip that will take us, once again!, to Japan & thailand.
And you know what? It sounds f*****g exciting!!!
See you shortly!
