sorry I haden’t posted anything in years…

Let me get back to the Alhambra show. It was definitely one of the highlights of our career. Great venue, great crowd etc. here’s what you’ve missed:

Too Close To The Sun, Ear To The Ground (featuring opening band Da BraSilians) and a cover from The KInks, Picture Book). A hilarious introduction by Raphael Leger (He was reported saying that Xavier, besides having a collection of 738 Western shirts also likes to “cross dress”…which is of course a lie, but it had a certain effect on the 800 people at the venue)

Pedro wearing that Huge bear mask which you can see in the Changes video, Mederic changing trousers at every encore…that was fun!

Last week we played Dieppe which was pretty cool, too. Friendly audience, taking their shirts off, dancing even though it was a seated venue (!). Next is Besançon (our only memory of Besançon is of a disgusting sandwich and the sad news of the passing of French singer Alain Bashung…can’t get much worse, so I’m pretty optimistic about it)

and then London for a show and a Dj set.
