Ouch.
I feel like yesterday lasted at least 3 days.
Can’t believe that we started at 8 am with a bicycle ride under heavy rain with ponchos (J’s pics are lost in his broken camera…zut), followed by a long drive back to Taipeh, then sukiyaky (not exactly Taiwanese food), then promo, interviews, radio etc.
We had dinner in a cool typical Taiwanese place and, as planned, crashed at the Fucking Place. ( A bar in Taipeh) I still hear myself saying “A few drinks and then: Out!” or “I won’t take off my shirt if Spanky plays One More Time” …
Of course, we did exactly the opposite. another crazy memorable party. (Un)predictable as the song goes.
As spanky took over, we felt “the earth move under (our) feet, the sky tumbling down etc.” We had experienced an earthquake. Waoh. I watched the faces of Taiwanese people at the bar, they all went pale & with their eyes wide open. It seemed surreal for us, as we had never experienced such a thing before. Shortly afterwards, we were all chanting “Earthquake!!! Earthquake!!!” hugging each other…
Then, we went back to the hotel, late…
