November=Grey Skies
‘Ello,
We’re back from Brussels. It’d been a while since we packed up all our gear (including drumkits, amps…) and travelled on a bus as our last concerts were usually far away, involving planes and rental equipment. Man, our oldest flightcases, kindly named “Blasphème” (as the 80’s hard rock band who used to own it) and “Parjure” (because it sounded like a cool name for a French 80’s hard rock band) are heavy… It felt like playing with old friends.
The show itself was fun, rootsy, with a certain promiscuity with the audience (they were pretty close to us, hiding my setlist with their drinks…). We performed some songs for the first time (Solitary Bizness, Keys To The City), there were some we hadn’t played in years (WFTS, Fun Fair), and we included some new tracks we had already tried on our Asian shows (Crack up, Gate 33, Darlin’…). It was a pretty good test. hope we passed the audition.

If you’re in Paris this week, you can see us at Le Motel (wednesday 10) for a DJ set and more, and on Friday (November 12) at le Zenith.
Thx
X
