Still in Bangkok, for 2 days. Pedro & I have officially started our jobs as producers: we spent all day with Thai band Sqweez Animal working on 2 of their songs. Cool. It’s actually great to have this kind of experiences here, even though a recording studio is more or less the same everywhere we go: you lock the door, crack the whip and get the work done.

(pretty good definition, isn’t it?)

Last night our dear friend Pichai took me out for orginally a couple of drinks to a party at a very cool club called Demo. Can’t believe how much fun it was. I guess that’s part of the joys of being a “professional” “musician”: sometimes you get to see things that no tourists would ever come close. It was my first party attended by a royal princess. Lucky me. I loved it when a whole army of guards came to check the place and permitted access. As a sign of respect, I danced to the songs thatseemed to have been selected for her (Rick Astley, Kylie * etc.). Really Cool. They even played a weird remix of One More Time, but no shirts off this time…Surrounded by friendly actors, actresses, models, designers, musicians etc, I was taking plenty of notes. It looks like our next album will be lyrically different. Yeah.

After the original amount of drinks planned was multiplied by 5, I was back at the hotel, ready for another long day in Bkk
