Hey,
The window is open, I hear unfamiliar sounds of birds singing , we’re still in Sao Paulo, and I’m tired…3 sleepless nights in South America (nice title for a remake), in a row, it’s a lot.
We deejayed last night at a club called Gloria, it was really super cool. Med, Pedro & me took control of the desks. 3 brains (?), 6 hands, a selection of cool tracks (Aphex Twin, various T80 remixes , A-ha, PYT by Michael Jackson, Couac Coauc by Ronad & Donald). and you’ve got the recipe for a very enjoyable DJ set.
Of course, we’d rather had done a concert, next time I suppose, but mixing songs that we love was totally fun & entertaining. the club was great too.
Then we went to another club, somebody in the queue told me they liked one of our songs “The Only One I Know” a lot! I dared not saying that it was The Charlatans, not T80, I took it as a compliment, and was so thrilled to dance to that track a few minutes later.
Next, we’ll jump on a plane and by monday morning we’ll be back home. Yes. Then on the 29th, we’ll perform in Paris at Le Scopitone, former Paris Paris.
Julien will be back on his keyboard stool and Mehdi will be in the audience…merci mec, now we can say you’re the seventh member of T80 (ah!)
Then, LA, then NYC an possibly another show in the area…
Thanks to all for making that trip unforgettable. We had a f****n’ blast.
