‘Don’t know if you followed our latest adventures, but “Activity Center” our 4th album is done. (applause!) It took 3 months to complete it. Starting with a few cosmetic and gear changes at Tahitilab, and finishing with a crazy work schedule when Pedro was mixing some songs while I was putting the last touches to other ones. Pretty schizophrenic! It was exhausting, but it was definitely worth it. We’re extremely proud of it.

Here’s the story, we recorded 13 songs at our studio in rouen. Pedro & I produced the sessions. You’ll find 12 ditties on the L.P (yep, we’ll print a vinyl version of it). here’s the sequence:

The bonus track is called Too Close To The Sun.

For the lucky ones who happened to be At Evreux’s Rock Dans Tous Ses Etats, we performed the whole album (minus Ear To The Ground). We enjoyed it a lot, it was fun (except for one constant extremely loud buzz which fucked up my right ear….hopefully, I’ll recover….). People seemed to dig it.

For this occasion, Mehdi from Fugu was T80’s 5th member as a keyboardist and backing vocalist.

The artwork is done too. We once again worked with our historical designer, the ever elegant Laurent Fétis. The cover photograph was shot by the talented Swede André Wolff.

Coming next, a few shows before the release of the album (SEPTEMBER 22nd), we’ll keep you posted.
