Do you know the way to Tokyo?
3 years agoHola, que tal?
Last nite, we played a show at Murcia’s Lemon Pop festival. Despite arriving 4 hours late, thanks to a low cost airline, we were quite thrilled about performing again in front of a Spanish audience. The soundcheck was skipped, and we headed for the closest Tapas bar.
The evening was going smoothly,as we were enjoying the warmth of the Spanish summer (it already feels like fall in Paris).
Everything’s was going great, till I checked the results of France’s football game against Austria on my cell phone…I actually lost one of my contacts when I read the first-half score: Austria 2 France 0…glups…
OK, fine, I thought, “it’s only a game”.
Then I decided to have a sip of my cerveza before going to my room and fix my vision problem. Strangely, I felt something soft in my mouth: it was my lost contact lens…I rushed outside to spit it out in the street.
(If the Farelly bros are reading, it could make a good scene in their next movie)
(I want Ben Stiller to play the part)
We played late (Spanish time) and even though we had some technical difficulties on stage, it was a pretty good show. Then, we had a few drinks backstage with The High Llamas, then we were off to a nightclub, and then it was already 7am and it was time to take the 1st plane of the day (out of 3).
Médéric and I will land in Japan tomorrow, and we’ll spend 3 days of intense promotion in Tokyo. It will be exciting to be in Japan for the release of “Activity Center”
Love!
