One Night At The Leather Shop…*

Hey,

Last nite’s show was amazing, we had a great time.

There were a few good reasons for that:

a)    we rehearsed the afternoon before at a studio located close to the venue. Remember, it was only going to be our 2nd full show since we started promoting “Activity Center”. So all the work on the setlist, endings, stage jokes and, not forgetting, the sexy moves was worth it
b)    La Maroquinerie is a great venue, the name of the street is Boyer, The show was sold out, I mean, you can’t go wrong with all that.
c)    A great crowd, smiling faces, lots of -pretty- girls seem to attend our shows these days…Is it the band-picture-on-the-front-cover-effect? Seriously, I’m amazed at how great our audience(s) in Paris are.
d)    we were wearing well ironed shirts, mostly me.
e)    José Butez our mascot, mandolinist en chef was here. he even joined us on stage for an epic version of “Dream On”.
f)    The temperature rose very quicky, after “One Parachute”, it felt like playing at the height of the monsoon in some exotic place. I was surprised to see a friend of mine wearing a dufflecoat and a pull over in the audience. Sweat is cool…

…And I could go on forever. My favourite moment was when we played Antonelli,
BigDay & 1,000 Times in a row…My in-ears loosened up a little, and I heard all
these big roars coming from the fans. Pretty Fookin’ amazing. We played 8 songs
from the new album, the hits, The Ronettes’ cover (Be my Baby), and for my own
personal taste a great version of Changes…

Thx again for coming,

Love & see y’all soon
