Back to work!
I went to Rouen today, and it wasn’t the best time to travel as all the return trains were cancelled after some bullshit happened at the station, but I have to say I missed our HQ, the Tahiti-cave-lab, so even with all the hassle, it was cool to be here.
I picked up the mail (Joulupukki Ep’s, T80/levi’s models, T-shirts from Thailand…), enjoyed the food for the nearby restaurant (surprisingly it tasted better than last year), but, secretely, all I wanted to do was to play with my new guitar/toys, some I hardly remembered purchasing in 2008.
The locals, aka Médéric & Pedro were there too, and we talked about touring, producing other bands and our master plan for world domination, which included recording a new album shortly.
I also imported some footage from the Activity Center Tour ( many, many DV’s of things I also had no memories of, alzheimer!?), it was fun to go from a live show in Chateau Gontier to a concert in Tokyo! With the same angle as the guitar tech was holding the camera from is side of the stage…Cool. Maybe someday, some of this will be available.
And of course, we worked on some new songs…
